Welcome to U. S. Grant High School’s Freshman Academy. Our goal is to ensure a successful transition into high school for incoming freshmen. Our teachers collaborate with each other, with administrators and with parents to provide a nurturing environment and foster academic success. Teachers and administrators monitor student achievements as well as setbacks in order to provide support and intervention when needed. We are looking forward to working with parents to provide the best education we can for your children.

The selection process for SLCs is complete, and your children have been assigned to their Small Learning Communities for next year. Students have been notified. Please aks your children about their SLC assignments. Open House Thank YouThank you to all parents and students who attended Open House on Thurday, February 28. We had an excellent turnout in many of our Freshman Academy classes. We were very happy to talk to all of you.
